The Productive Assistant provides accounting support to businesses that either lack the time, knowledge, or resources to complete these necessary tasks in their business. Our staff specializes in QuickBooks products to provide accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll support. We also have experience in other accounting software such as Sage and e-commerce programs such as Spotify.

Lisa Girton

  • Lisa has more than 30 years of office management, marketing, and sales experience. She has developed systems and procedures for accounting, collections, inventory and human resource management. Additionally, she is a self-taught QuickBooks expert with more than 25 years of experience with the product. She is a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor and holds the Advanced Certification for QuickBooks Online and is Certified for QuickBooks Desktop. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Ball State University. She resides in the Kokomo area with her husband of 32 years, Alan. She is a member of the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance and serves on the Chamber of Commerce Council. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Samaritan Caregivers for 7 years, holding the office of president twice and chair-woman of the marketing committee. Additionally, she served as treasurer for the Western Band Boosters for four years.

Tawnya Harrison

  • Tawnya possesses over 25 years of office management experience, which includes managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, inside sales staff, service scheduling, human relations, general office management, business marketing and advertising management.  Tawnya’s career highlights include the implementation of new management software within an international production facility, as well as the successful oversight of multiple international client accounts at a multi-million-dollar firm.  Tawnya is detail-oriented and always strives to give her clients the best service possible. She possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and has extensive experience managing teams of personnel toward successful completion of challenging tasks.

    Tawnya has an Associates of Science in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She resides in Kokomo and has two daughters, one granddaughter and a grandson that are the highlight of her life. She is an ambassador with The Greater Kokomo Chamber of Commerce where she has been on the committee for the annual Strawberry Festival in Kokomo and the Chamber Annual Golf outing. In previous years Tawnya has been a member of Kokomo Networking Connections and the Secretary/Treasurer for Women’s Life Chapter 811.

Beth Hall

  • Beth has a diverse work history background that includes customer service, office management, volunteer coordinator, loan officer, collection specialist and debt counselor. Prior to joining The Productive Assistant, she worked for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development as an unemployment claim specialist, program coordinator and case manager. She is a Notary Public and has a BA in General Business Administration from Ball State University.

    Beth is married to husband, Derrick, for 27 years. They have one daughter, Ainsley, who will be graduating from Ball State University this May. In the past, Beth has served on the board of the Literacy Coalition and held the offices of Vice President and Treasurer.

Lisa Hounchell

  • Lisa has worked as a bookkeeper since 1981. Prior to joining The Productive Assistant, she was the full charge bookkeeper and office manager for 1up! Software. She has an Associate Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech-Kokomo.

    Lisa has been married to her husband Greg for 12 years.  She has a daughter Katelyn and three grandchildren Rex, Imalee, and Kora.

Brooke Webster

  • Brooke’s work history includes being a realtor for 17 years and managing broker for 15 years. She was also an office manager for a local car dealership. This experience has honed her attention to detail skills that make her perfect for her role as an Accounting Assistant.

    Brooke has been married to husband, Trenton, for 23 years. They have two sons, JT – 20 and Adam – 16. She is also a Notary Public.
